A classic Sri Lankan home-style meal with aromatic spices and creamy coconut gravy.
500g chicken pieces
1 onion, sliced
2 tomatoes
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp roasted curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garlic & ginger paste
1 cup coconut milk
Salt
Oil
1. Heat oil, fry onion, garlic, ginger.
2. Add chicken and spices, mix well.
3. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
4. Pour coconut milk and simmer 20 minutes.
5. Serve with rice.
Add pandan leaf and curry leaves for authentic aroma.
